Missile Hits Dying US Spy Satellite

Summary: At 10:26 PM, February 20th, a missile launched from a Navy cruiser in the Pacific Ocean hit a dying and potentially deadly U.S. spy satellite and destroyed it. The purpose for destroying the dying satellite is to wipe out an onboard tank of toxic fuel which was thought be dangerous to human beings on the Earth. After the missile called "SM-3" hit the satellite successfully, two officials of the Pentagon confirmed this event to the media. They didn't annouce the total details about this attack. The officials just said that the Pentagon will state the

report about whether the onboard tank which toxic fuel was in was destroyed or not in 24 hours. The officials also warned that if the toxic fuel were fallen onto the ground where crowded people was, it will be extremely dangerous to the people. By the way, it was the first time that the U.S. Navy used the "SM-3" missile to attack satellite in the space. This missile is an important part of the Pentagon's missile defense system. It was designed to shoot down hostile ballistic missiles in fight-----not kill satellites.

My Response: I'm really worry about this event's influence. I'm afraid about that it will start a new armament race in the space. I hate any forms of weapons. I think the real purpose of the Pentagon is to test new weapons in the space. Although the satellite was hit by the missile, the toxic fuel may be still dangerous pollute the environment. I didn't believe the Pentagon's statement because every political or military action always cheat publics by using lots of excuses. I look forward to a peaceful world. No weapons, no wars, no conflicts, and no bleeding!

Transformers

My favourite movie is "Transformers", which was showed last summer. I believe all of you have watched this movie,right? If you haven't seen this movie, I'm very glad to share my experience of watching this movie with you!

The main story the movie told us is that a very developed alien civilization from a planet which is far from the earth sends some robots which can transform their appearances from different kinds of vehicles to heavy armed robots to the earth. It's really cool! Just try to imagine a view like this: When you are driving your car on the Broadway, a dazzling BMW racing car which besides you tranforms into a huge robot which is 10 metres high and handling a machine gun! Will you fall in love with it?HaHa~~~I will! I really like the Transformers! When I was a little boy, I saw the transformers' cartoon programs in TV set. On the day I saw their cartoon programs, the Transformers became my "heroes" in my heart. It was my dream that one day I will see my cartoon heroes on the screen. Now, my dream comes true.

Also, the fighting scenes in this movie are really exciting. They are very veritable just like the real bomb explodes beside you. If you have never seen this amazing movie before, I recommended it strongly to you! You won't be disappointed for watching it!
